In this blog, I will summarize the reasons why Commote awarded Cisco Top Honors as an IoT Company of the Year industrial company. Our solutions in the area of customers to protect their operations and laying a robust foundation for AI, all with trouble-free IT-OT cooperation and proven designs built in partnership with leading industrial automation companies.
“Robust Security as a business”
In the announcement of the IoT breakthrough, Cisco’s innovation emphasizes in industrial cyber security and readiness AI, which is considered to be primary concerns about industrial operations. The announcement says: “Specifically designed for industrial needs, CISCO switches, routers and wireless equipment share a common base with their corporate counterparts… The shared operating system, the platform for management and safety measures that make it easier between IT and teams. As shown in the figure, the solution of Cisco industrial networks comes with built -in visibility, segmentation, remote access of zero trust, and intelligence intelligence needed for the effective response to the incident. “The strength of AI/ml”
I regularly encounter leading industrial companies, many of which are already using AI to modernize operations – advantageous maintenance, detection of production anomalies, robotics and caromaous vehicles, supplier chain optimization and more. For example, Audi uses Cisco solutions for prototypes of virtual reality and predictive maintenance. Argos Cement uses AI to analyze historical data and create digital twins and predictive models to maintain quality, reduce energy consumption and increase in transmission.
AI applications, such as these, place high requirements on the network. Think of the network as a nervous system connecting brains in a data center with industrial asset IoT in plants and fields. In the pricing, IoT lists a breakthrough: “Cisco’s Industrial Solutions Engation Industries uses AI/ml power to manage innovation to satisfy current and future needs. The connection with the low bandwidth between OT and IT is transported by large volumes of data generated by sensors, machines, drivers and other analytical applications in data centers and cloud.
“Verified design guide that are plans”
In addition to our IoT breakthrough technology, Cisco also calls for “publishing verified design guides that are plans for successful network and security … that achieve a business target. We provide more than 80 proven designs and architectures of Cisco for the industry, including production, energy and water tools, oil and gas, mining, ports and terminals, roads and intersections and public transport. My colleague Keith Higgins, the director of Cisco product marketing, adds that “IT/OT cooperation improves verified proposals, helping to reduce the risk, increase operational efficiency and speed up implementation.
